Who We Are

The Aqua Devils is a Water Ski Show Team in Three Lakes, Wisconsin. The show team began in the mid-1950’s as a small, family-oriented ski club. That tradition continues today. Many of our skiers are second- and third-generation members. The team performs shows weekly during the summer at the Phyllis B. Felland Memorial ski grounds.

The Aqua Devils originated in the 1950’s with a group of local young people water skiing on the Chain and Maple Lakes. After noticing their efforts were attracting an audience, the skiers decided to put together a show. In 1972, the club changed the name to the Ski Bees. The members built a jump, installed a slalom course and proceeded to clear the present day site for expanding crowds. During 1978, the club reverted back to its original name, the Aqua Devils.

The Aqua Devils team is very unique for two reasons:

First, the Aqua Devils are proud to say that new and current members do not have to be in a junior club before entering the show. The team does its best to incorporate hard working and dedicated members into the show.

Secondly, the show team is unaware of any other team that does not charge for admission. Since the team has no admission fee, it relies on donations for support. Given that our only income is through fundraisers and donations, no club member is paid to be a part of the team—every member joins because of his or her love of water skiing. We feel that it is each members’ love and dedication to the sport of water skiing that allows us to provide a very entertaining water ski show.
